When visiting Alaska, experiencing solitude is important to gain an understanding of the land and place.   Independence, a quality which defines the state, reflects upon this understanding.  Visitors to Denali National Park who are equipped with local knowledge and the appropriate gear will be rewarded with a richer and more fulfilling experience.  At Bike Denali, our goal is to assist our customers with insight and resources that heighten the Denali Experience.

Camp Denali is a fly-in wilderness lodge in the heart of Denali National Park. Nineteen guest cabins are privately nestled along a tundra and boreal forest ridgeline, each with a picture-window view of Denali. An uphill stroll leads to our timber frame dining room and historic log lodge. Daily naturalist-led hikes immerse you in the wilderness and wildlife of Denali. Gathering at long tables for meals fosters community and camaraderie. Camp Denali remains what our founders envisioned 70 years ago, a place that doesn’t insulate you from the wilderness you came to explore.

The Kantishna Roadhouse is an all-inclusive historic lodge located deep in the heart of Alaska’s majestic Denali National Park & Preserve.  

The original Roadhouse at Kantishna was built in 1918, and served as a private residence, a community center, post office and informal hotel accommodations. Many nights were spent spinning tales of the Alaskan trail over a hot cup of coffee and a hearty meal. You can still see the “original” Roadhouse and other remnants of the past around our property.

A Unique Day Trip Into Denali National Park

We invite you to hop aboard a Cessna 206 single-engine aircraft with no more than four fellow adventurers for an once-in-a-lifetime 35 minute flightseeing tour into the heart of Denali National Park.

Upon landing you’ll board a shuttle into the historic gold mining district of Kantishna for a day of exploration, sightseeing, and activities of your choice.

We are a guided hiking company operating both inside and outside the park. We operate tours ranging in length from 3 hours to 12 hours with a focus on education about the Park's ecology, geology, history, and much more. We have a high standard for safety, requiring all of our guides to be certified Wilderness First Responders and to carry GPS and SOS devices on every hike. We also seek to give back, donating 5% of our net profits towards conservation in the areas we guide.
