We are an Alaska Lodge located at mile 68 of the Denali Highway, and we are open year round for you! There are so many opportunities here that in a lifetime you couldn’t do them all. The Backwoods Lodge is located 27 miles south of Denali National Park in the scenic Alaska Mountain Range in the small community of Cantwell. We are located 4 hours north of Anchorage and 2 ½ hours south of Fairbanks. The lodge is at the intersection of the Parks Highway and the Denali Highway. The lodge is located in a quiet wooded area and the vast majority of our guests are here to enjoy the solitude away from the hustle and bustle just outside Denali National Park.

Camp Denali is a fly-in wilderness lodge in the heart of Denali National Park. Nineteen guest cabins are privately nestled along a tundra and boreal forest ridgeline, each with a picture-window view of Denali. An uphill stroll leads to our timber frame dining room and historic log lodge. Daily naturalist-led hikes immerse you in the wilderness and wildlife of Denali. Gathering at long tables for meals fosters community and camaraderie. Camp Denali remains what our founders envisioned 70 years ago, a place that doesn’t insulate you from the wilderness you came to explore.

Chelatna Lake Lodge sits at the foot of Denali National Park on it's southern border. Nestled a hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, and within a one hour flight, our lodge provides breathtaking vistas of Mount Denali.

With a maximum capacity of 16 guests nightly, we have a wide variety of trip packages with over a dozen adventure activities. Including fishing, wildlife viewing, flightseeing, helicopter adventures, hiking, raft trips, birding, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming and more!

Amid towering trees on Sugarloaf Mountain overlooking Denali National Park & Preserve, these warm, rustic- chic log cabins are less than a mile from shops and restaurants on Highway 3 and a 3-mile drive from the Denali Visitors Center.

Featuring pillow-top mattresses and an alpine vibe, the cozy log cabins offer a digital concierge, flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, charging stations, Keurig coffeemakers and terraces with stunning views. Friendly staff will assist with excursion and train bookings.

Cozy and comfortable accommodations open year round in Healy. Located conveniently close to amenities and a short drive to Denali National Park. Located at South entrance of Denali National Park. Pioneer Alaska family owned & operated. Old time Alaska atmosphere in a quaint wooded setting. We offer a variety of 33 charming, cozy, unique cabins, many with private decks on Nenana River $78-$329. Beautiful 92 room Cedar hotel, every room on river with private decks. We have a small RV Park and scenic wooded tent camping. Food trucks, convenience store, liquor store,propane,gift shop, and laundromat on property.

Denali Lakeview Inn is a private haven for travelers seeking luxurious accommodations with the coziness of a lakefront bed and breakfast. The Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge is the closest and most comfortable place to stay when visiting the park. The entrance to Denali National Park is located only a mile from our front door. Denali Riverside Cabins is the closest lodging to the entrance of Denali National Park, just 1/2 miles north sitting on the banks of the beautiful Nenana River.   We offer 2 person cabins and 5 condo suites accommodating 4 to 8 guests.   Units are rustic yet modern and family friendly, withkitchenettes, sofa beds, outdoor sitting areas and living/dining areas.   barbeques are available for outdoor grilling.   It is a 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants.

Earthsong Lodge started as a dream, a dream to create a place where guests could escape the crowds and find a quiet refuge in a land rich in beauty and wildlife in the heart of Alaska. Located just 17 miles north of Denali National Park on scenic and historic Stampede Road, Earthsong Lodge is located above the tree line on the open tundra. There are sweeping views of the mountains and excellent chances for wildlife viewing. You have your own view of Mt. McKinley, just 4 miles down the road from our lodge.

 

The Kantishna Roadhouse is an all-inclusive historic lodge located deep in the heart of Alaska’s majestic Denali National Park & Preserve.  

The original Roadhouse at Kantishna was built in 1918, and served as a private residence, a community center, post office and informal hotel accommodations. Many nights were spent spinning tales of the Alaskan trail over a hot cup of coffee and a hearty meal. You can still see the “original” Roadhouse and other remnants of the past around our property.

Have the freedom for a “bucket list” dream vacation in Denali with Keys to Denali, car rentals. They will meet you at the Denali Depot or entrance to the national park, and they will take you back to your Denali departure spot for a one-time transfer fee of $60.

Owners have been hosting guests for 36 years and have an extensive tour desk service.  Ask them to book your tickets for tours and activities across the state to waive the $60 transfer fee.

Don’t pay extra for delivery fees for rentals from outside Denali. They are the only local rental car business stationed in Denali.

Rental cars start at $160.00 per day for sedans; mid-sized SUV’s are $200; large SUV’s are $250.00 and 12-passenger vans are $275.  Add 10% State Rental Tax to your choice.

Have Keys to Denali book railroad tickets throughout the state, flights around Denali, glacier tours, fjords trips, rafting, Husky Homestead, Fat Truck, zipline and more.  

Coolers, bear spray, good binoculars, hiking poles, and backpacks are part of their complimentary service. They can provide information about fine Denali accommodations and restaurants.

Rental car drivers need to be 25 or older, rent with a credit card not a debit card,  have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.  All the cars are returned to Denali; they have no one-way rentals.

Have us order your train or bus tickets, flights, rafting, ATving, fat truck, Husky Homestead tickets,, fjords trips, and accommodations in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Seward to have free transportation to waive transport costs to and from the Denali Depot.

We offer AAA approved, clean, comfortable rooms and cabins at reasonable prices. All our accommodations have private baths and coffee makers, some available with refrigerators, microwaves and toasters. Our Family Cabins can sleep up to 6 people and Creekside cabins idea for couples. Creekside-Lodging & Cafe' is ideally located just minutes from the park and is a hikers paradise with numerous trails in the back country right outside our front door! For those seeking beauty with the promise of adventure in the nation's last frontier, Creekside is just the ticket for enjoyment and location combined with afford-ability. Our full service restaurant, "The Creekside Café", is home of the famous Mt. Denali Cinnamon roll and the Wilcox Family Strawberry-Rhubarb Coffee Cake! We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with a selection of wine and Alaskan Crafted beers and no Alaskan Cafe is complete without a gourmet espresso bar! Saturday and Sunday Brunch served until 2pm. Open May 18th-Sept 10th. Mile 224 George Parks Hwy, 13 miles south of the park on Carlo Creek.

Six private cabins on 80 acres on the north boundary of Denali National Park provide a combination of expectation-exceeding wilderness lodging experience by night, and easy access to all that Denali has to offer by day. Located 16 miles north of the entrance to Denali National park, the site has a covered picnic pavilion with a gas grill. All cabins have a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Two cabins have full kitchens.
